I have spent two mornings at Lakefront Park in Prior Lake, MN. To say it is incredible is an understatement. Today I got off the paths and did a little exploring around the a few of the smaller lakes. It was a wet, dreary, drizzly overcast day making for explosive colors. I had my tripod today as well and shot my Olympus OMD EM5 with the Olympus 50-200 SWD for 90% of the day. I love that lens and how it renders on the EM5.

The following picture was from something I saw yesterday but didn't have the time to find the way to shoot it just right. Today I took the time and came prepared.

This was shot RAW and converted and tuned for color and contrast in Lightroom 5.2. This is the shot I had in mind when I saw it yesterday. Persistence and preparation paid off today.
