I am worried this picture and post will go against the grain here considering the image is of a Panasonic camera on what has been so far a 100% Olympus blog. Well, I can't help it. You see I have been searching for a super small camera to carry on my bike with me AND be compatible with all the lenses I have for m4/3. I do use an old Olympus PEN EP1 but it is quite dated, quite large and for my intended use of fitting in a bicycle jersey pocket, it is quite heavy.
Enter Panasonic GM1. I have been interested in this camera since it's launch. I am excited to say that next week, I will have the opportunity to try it out. Thanks to my friend JB and JB Camera Designs, he is sending up this camera and new custom grip pictured above from Oklahoma with a mutual friend that is coming up for business. I am stoked to get to play with and shoot this set up for a few days and try before I buy. Thank you JB!
Oh....And the premium wood, custom hand made grip shown is a new release. You can preorder it at AMAZON here and it's got a release date of February 18th. This is a courtesy link and I am in no way affiliated with JB or Amazon in any way other than friendship. I am simply supporting a friend whom is giving me an incredible cool opportunity to try it out.
