Today I took my first shots with  my new to me Rokinon 7.5mm f3.5 ultra wide fisheye lens. It's a crazy fun little lens. Today just sharing a couple of images just for fun, but this is what I found out about it in my first outing.

  • It sure works well with the EM1. I just installed the lens, set the focal length and went out shooting.
  • It's hard not to get my fingers in the picture. This is a wide, wide lens. I will need to modify how I hold the camera a bit as almost every shot had my fingers in the first few frames followed by reshooting with a different hold to get usable pics.
  • Almost everything is in focus with this little gem unless you are super, super close
  • The manual focus ring is very, very tight. So tight I couldn't turn it with gloves. I suppose the below zero temperature of this AM's walk didn't help either!

Anyway, here are a few shots just for the fun of it. I am gonna have some fun with this thing. Can't wait to get up close and shoot some action shots with this thing.
