Call off the hounds. Tonight I successfully beat down camera GAS! I successfully cancelled my pre order for the new Fuji XT1! That is a tall order as it is a really incredible camera and I love gear. When the camera was launched, I was weak in the knees and down on the only acceptable to me EM1 focus tracking so I hit the pre order button. I still have all the Fuji lenses as I shot the mighty capable XE1 for a year. I wanted to give it a try and said I'd sell the one that didn't work as well.  I have no doubt that the new Fuji XT1 will be a spectacular camera.

But...A lot has transpired since then. I've had time to shoot a bunch more, both film and digital, and it reminded me why I ended up with the EM1. It just works and I like the results. I gotta keep shooting it and learning it.

So....I cured my GAS by using a gift certificate I received to buy a used Rokinon 7.5mm fisheye for my EM1. Should be here next week and I am looking forward to adding that look and option to my growing lens tool kit.
