Autumn in MN is a beautiful time. In fact, it's my favorite season of the year. While I enjoyed my trip to Taiwan it came at a time of year here in MN that represented peak outdoor fall time. To compensate for my missed time, I have been taking my camera with me on my morning walks and shooting. Not every day shooting, but shooting when I see something.  I think these walks have been good and mixing my camera into my morning dog walks had helped the therapeutic impact of my walks as well.

I am currently enjoying the GX8 with the Nikon F mount, Zeiss 50mm f1.4. It's far from sharp at f1.4 but I love the rendering and the often talked about Zeiss color and pop. Here is one of my favorite pics from my Morning dog walks.  This was this morning. Stunning light and color in the sky. This was shot RAW, in camera Raw to Jpeg conversion and transferred to phone for posting here.

Our fall season is ending and soon will turn to snow, darkness and black & white photography.
