Following up on yesterday's post about the EM1ii and the Fuji XT2, I must also share that there is another contender in the ring that may surprise some, the Panasonic G85.
You can read my review of the closely related GX85 below. This new camera improves on the camera I loved with an improved viewfinder, weather sealing, an external battery grip and a shared battery with another camera I have (A huge plus). I have really grown to love Panasonic cameras, operations, menues and features.
This camera with the new Panasonic 12 f1.4, the Nocticron 42.5 f1.2 and the 100-400 long zoom could be an incredible combo for my Iceland trip.
Given I am waiting for the OMD EM1 Mark ii to arrive so I can rent it, maybe I will rent this camera this week for an event I am shooting to see just what it is all about.
Honestly though, this camera looks to be an Olympus OMD Em5ii killer and an equal, and possibly better, than the original Olympus OMD EM1. If I rent one this week, I will for sure do a post on it and share images and thoughts.
